Arvind Chauhan

Chauhan Sir did his B. Tech. in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. He has been teaching Physics and Applied Calculus for Engineering & Medical college entrance exams since 1993. 

He was one of the first teachers in India to start online video courses in 2005, and e-Hybrid classrooms with videoconferencing technology in 2012 - which were later expanded to 4 centres in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Ludhiana & Bathinda.

Sir also holds an MBA degree from Canada, and an MSc degree from UK. He had taken a break from active teaching (years 2008 - 2011) for the sake of pursuing these two degrees, and ended up being the batch topper in both master's programs!

His best JEE results were : In the year 2006 his students bagged All India IIT JEE Advanced Ranks 1, 4, 6 & 7 in general category, from the same batch, in Chandigarh - including a Gold medal in the International Physics Olympiad. And in the year 2000, 13 students from Sir's top batch got AIRs in top 100 in IIT JEE Advanced, including AIR 1 Girls. This result is legendary and no other teacher or even an institute has even come remotely close to achieving it in Chandigarh.

Besides his passion for teaching Physics, he is an avid meditator, zen & yoga practitioner and a passionate musician. His other interests include neuro-psychology, neuro-spirituality, swimming, aero-modelling, kite making, drone flying & videography, parasailing, jet-skiing, hiking in jungle & mountain trails, cooking, baking and lastly creating content.

Sir's latest Edtech venture is 'Zenvidya' - promoting the Zen way of learning & assimilating Vidya (i.e. Knowledge).
